A Dream Comes True....

This is one of my very first fanfic...written in 2003...thought I would post it here to share with my MB sis....

Ok gals, here is a fanfic that is based on Mei Ling and Kiu Wai lives. I'm going to twisted up a little and add some more spice into the mixture. Hope you gals will like it.

At the filming studio, everyone was getting in position to film a new serie, the Fearless Duo. Mei Ling and Kiu Wai were the main characters in this serie. They seemed to have an intriging chemistry on screen. Though Mei Ling and Kiu Wai were a couple in the film, both were dating someone else at the moment...Mei Ling was seeing Ken Tong, and Kiu Wai was with Jamie Chik.

Even during the rolling of the serie, Mei Ling and Kiu Wai were very playful. They have very good relationships with each other...though at the time it was just friendships. After the Fearless Duo was done, their friendship is even better for the director saw their reaction to each other in the film...he decided to cast them in another serie, the Foundation. At the time, Mei Ling and Ken Tong are not in good standing together. During the filming, she was not very focus....
"Sorry...I'm just not myself today...can we take a little break?.." Mei ling appologizes to the director. She went over to a boulder and sat down. Kiu Wai saw that even though Ken Tong was there, he didn't come over to see how Mei Ling is. Kiu Wai was a bit concern, he walked over and sat down next to Mei Ling.
"You feeling alright today? You look kinda down, what's wrong? Care to tell me?" Kiu Wai asked very concern.
"No...It's nothing Kiu Wai...Thanx...I'll be alright...just didn't have enough sleep that's all." She smiled at him..
"Ok...but if you need to air out anything feel free to let me know...I'm always willing to lend an ear..." he patted her shoulder.
"Thank you...it's good to have a friend like you....at least you care about me more than some one ..." she was glancing over towards Ken Tong.
"Ok ....everyone back to your places....we have to get going...it's getting late...I have to get this scene right today....ok ppl ready....ACTION!!" the director called.
It was supposed to be love scene with Mei Ling and Kiu Wai.

They were supposed to be playing the scene when Kiu Wai was taking her out and he upsetted her and made her cried. At this scene it only took one shot to get it right...the firing upsetting eyes of Mei Ling were perfect for the scene. The way she turned back and scolded at Kiu Wai let him know she must be upset at Ken Tong. Knowing that, KW improvided the making her smile again part...it works fine with the director...for it was just perfect...they seemed to be into themselves at the moment.

The next scene was to be at the garden. At this time, Mei Ling was feeling much better...she acted even more supperb with Kiu Wai since she wanted to make Ken Tong jealous. The part when Kiu Wai was supposed to pretend to kiss her at the gazebo, she let him kissed her on the lips...Kiu Wai knew exactly what she was trying to do...so he acted along with her..... Everyone were staring at them in shock...including Ken...He was really upset at that...

Chapter 2

After the filming was done...everyone was to go home...Mei Ling didn't go home with Ken. Instead, she asked Kiu Wai to take her home. Being a good friend, Kiu Wai did take her home. While they were in his car...listening to music for awhile...it was total silence....
"Is everything alright with you?" Kiu Wai broke the silence.
"What made you say that?" Mei Ling tried to play it off like nothing is going on.
"Well, you weren't being yourself lately...and now...you're in my car....why didn't Ken take you home?..."
"Is it a problem for you to take me home? If it is...I can take a cab..." Mei Ling was putting her anger on Kiu Wai. Realizing what she just did...she appologizes...for Kiu Wai didn't say anything else. He walked her up to her apartment and say goodbye...."you just take care of yourself...there are more scenes to do tomorrow...get some rest..maybe you'll be better then.." he told her in a friend to friend way.

When Kiu Wai got home...Jamie was over at his place...she wasn't really happy...coz she heard about the little scene that Kiu Wai and Mei Ling were in at the studio...besides, he forgot to pick her up...she was doing a film in the studio also.
"Jamie!?!? Oh I'm so sorry...I forgot all about you..." Kiu Wai appologizes.
"Yeah...whatever...you're so busy with Mei Ling and forgotten all about me...." she was really upset..."and what with the scene earlier today? Why did you kissed her when it wasn't in the script? she was really steamy.
"Well, I was helping Mei Ling out...that's all...there is nothing for you to be upset about..." Kiu Wai was upset now...he doesn't really know why he is upset...but he just is.
"Fine...you do whatever to help her...what for? Even if she and Ken is in a turmoil...you don't have to add more to that..."
"I wasn't...it was just in the moment..." he slipped.
"Just in the moment? What do you mean by that?" she is on fire now.
"I don't mean anything..." he really didn't know why he said that..."if you're here to pick a fight...please go home..today is not the day or time..." he told her.
"And now you want to shoo me away...I see..." she slammed the door behind her as she leave.
Kiu Wai was having a terrible headache...he doesn't know what just had happened. He went to take a shower and turned himself in early for he has more work ahead of him.

The next day at the studio....
Feeling a little croggy...both Kiu Wai and Mei Ling weren't at their best....Mei Ling came over to appologize for her action yester...
"Kiu Wai...I'm sorry...I didn't..."
"It's ok Mei Ling, I know you didn't...just let it go...we still have some more scenes to finish up today..." he interrupted her...he is the older person in the show biz than Mei Ling so he's helping her along the way. Since they are so compatible, it was easy for them to get their acting right.
"No I mean about making Jamie upset at you..."
"How did you know?" Kiu Wai was surprised.
"That's not the point...I just didn't mean about the whole thing....hope you and Jamie are fine...I really don't want her to misunderstand you...that's all..." she forced a smile on her face and get back to the filming.

When they were done for the day. They went home...this time Mei Ling took the cab home...she didn't ask Kiu Wai to take her anymore...for Jamie had a little talk with her early in the morning. Jamie was really upset at Mei Ling...Since, Kiu Wai and Mei Ling were so good and natural on screen and there were so much rumors...she was feeling a little uneasy...though she is an actress herself....but after all she is still human....she felt there is a challenge...

Chapter 3

A couple of weeks later.....after Mei Ling and Ken Tong were on better term than before(she wasn't as upset at him for some reason...it seemed like she didn't really care anymore)....she wasn't happy coz he had signed on to make porno movies...she was really upset at that....but what done is done...he can't go back on his contract now...

There was a new movie for Mei Ling to be in...but this time she wasn't with Kiu Wai...she accepted this script b/c she want to cool down all the rumors about her and Kiu Wai...since everyone in town were talking about them..she didn't want Jamie to give him a hard time...well, at least for the being...

She was in the new serie with Tony Leung...Though Tony is a great actor...but somehow, she and he don't make a real good pairing....when the shoot was done...they didn't star in any other role together. At the time, Margie Tsang, Tony's girlfriend was a good/close friend of Mei Ling. They talked a lot....almost about everything...while they were out for lunch one day in a nice restaurant...
"Mei Ling...is everything ok with you? I heard that Ken is in a ...ahmmm...movie...you let him do that? Margie was curious.
"Well, I don't really know Marg...I was really upset at first but don't know anymore...it seems like it doesn't affect me as much anymore....he can do whatever he wants..." Mei Ling replied to Margie.
"Why you say that? If you love him, why did you allow him to do that with other girls...? I don't understand Mei...you should be firm and told him he had to get out of it..." Margie was a little upset for Mei Ling.
"I don't know Marg...let's not talk about him for now can we...how are things going with you and Tony?
"Oh we're fine...he's busy nowadays with so many contracts..we don't really have much time to be together...but that's ok...coz i know what he is doing..." Marg smiled...."I heard you just accepted another role with Kiu Wai.." she continued.
"Yeah...it's "The New Adventure of CLH"...the script was really good...I like it a lot..." she didn't realized her excitement tone when she told Margie....
"Well you seem really happy about this contract..." Margie added.
"Oh....I mean it's a nice role..." Mei Ling didn't really know why she was acting like that.
"Anyways, I heard that Kiu Wai and Jamie are mad at each other...think Jamie is pissed at him about something..." Margie told Mei Ling.
"Oh really? Do you know what's it about?" Mei Ling was interested.
"Uhmmmmm........think it's related to you and Kiu Wai...since you guys are always casting as a couple and there are tons of rumors aobut you two...i think she takes it real serious..."
"Oh I see....well, she knows we're in show biz...she shouldn't be like that....rumors are just rumors...." Mei Ling was defensive.
"Are you sure it's just rumors?" Margie added...."You guys are really onto each other at the studio you know...like no one else is there....I know a little flirting would relaxes you ...but the other ppl see it differently...."
"I didn't think of that before....we were just playing....you know Kiu Wai is a playful person...he's just kidding around with me...and I responded...it's normal...is it not?" Mei Ling looked at Margie like she want Margie to answer her YES...
"If you say so..." shrugged Margie.
Though Mei Ling tried to make her conversation with Margie like it nothing....she was puzzled inside...for she had never notice all that before...she didn't realize she and Kiu Wai actions were more to other ppl eyes...as she was driving home on a deserted street by the beach....a song from the radio catches her attention....it was about two ppl who didn't realize they're in love until other ppl say something about it...this is how it goes...well, some bits and parts of it...but the one that struck her the most was....*ppl are talking....talking about ppl....ect....we stand a little too close....we stare a little too long.....maybe they're seeing something we don't darling....* the song really got her that she was almost got into an accident....she break real hard and her car barely touch the bumper on the car in front....it was Kiu Wai's car....
Kiu Wai looked at his rear mirror and saw Mei Ling looking frighten and shock....he stepped out of his car to see if she is ok....
"Mei Ling are you alrigt? What happened?" he was concerned.
She didn't answer him right away....she was still in a state of shock..."I...I.I'm alright....I wasss......I didn't hit you did I?" she looked at him...
"No you didn't....I saw your car coming at a distance but you didn't break until you were really close to me...are you sure you alright?" he helped her out of the car and they went walking down the beach......it was really late...no one else seems to be around....
"I was distracted by a song on the radio and didn't realize there was a car infront of me until I was really close...sorry if I scare you..."
"You didn't hit me ....so don't have to appologize...." he comforted her...."but lately...you really need to rest a bit Mei Ling...you seem really out of it....everybody is talking about you..." he added...
"About me what? with you?" she blurted out.
"What about me?" he turned to her as they stopped on the beach..."Is there something I need to know?"
"Oh...no....it was just rumors..." she stopped short...."how are things with you and Jamie?" she changed the subject...
"I dunno...she been really unreasonable lately...dunno what get into her...she always have something to say to pick a fight with me...I couldn't stand it so that's why I'm out here this time of the night........how about you? what are you doing out here so late at night..it's not safe for a girl to be out late you know..." they were sitting down on a rock at the beach as they look out into the water...
"I don't know either Kiu Wai...I dunno...." she sighed.
They didn't talk for a long time...just sat there....staring into the darkness of the water and listening to the sounds of the waves as it strike the shore....before long....Mei Ling fell asleep leaning onto Kiu Wai for she was poofed out...knowing there is something really bothering her....he just sat there with one hand holding her from the back and the other holding her other hands to keep her warm....there was no other thoughts in his mind...he was just being a good good friend...at the moment he didn't think he has any other feeling for Mei Ling.......Until...he was looking down at her face as the moonlight shines on it...she look soooo beautiful and peaceful....at that moment...something came over him...he bend down to kiss her...but he stopped....realizing what he was doing......they were there until dawn came...before the beach was crowded with ppl, Kiu Wai woke Meil Ling up and offered to drive her home....she left her car there and went with him....for she is not into driving when there tons of vehicles on the road... and after she almost got into an accident.

Chapter 4

When they got to Mei Ling's apartment, Kiu Wai walked her up...he came in to wash up a little and drank some coffee...
"Sorry to keep you out all night..." as she handed him his coffee.
"It's ok...I needed some fresh air myself...it was nice at the beach listening to the waves and looking at the stars.." with a smile on his face.
"Thanx anyway Kiu Wai....you always there when I needed someone the most..." she smiled back.
"Guess I better get back to my place and change for work...we have to be at the studio later today...the director want to do the dress rehersal for CLH...you better get some rest and get ready too...I'll see you later....oh..you want me to pick you up? Your car is still at the beach...." he told her.
"That will be great...I'll see you at 11:00am then?!?" as she showed him to the door...When Kiu Wai was about to exit her apartment, Ken Tong showed up...he was surprised to see Kiu Wai at Mei Ling's place so early in the morning....he wasn't happy...
Kiu Wai just wave to Ken and turned back to Mei Ling..."I'll see you later..." he smiled and left. Mei Ling just smiled back and wave goodbye.
"Where were you lastnight? I called but no one answer...what is Kiu Wai doing here so early in the morning?" Ken was being inquisitive.
"I don't have to answer to you....what I do and who I'm with is none of your biz...you do whatever you want without consulting me...why are you trying to medle into my bizness?" Mei Ling angrily replied. Her back was facing Ken.
"First you're mad at me coz I didn't care about how you feel...now you're mad coz I want to know what's going on with you and Kiu Wai??!?! Is there something you need to tell me?" he was really upset.
"There is nothing for me to tell....Kiu Wai is a very good friend of mine...we're making movies together...he concerns about me...is that a problem? If it is...it doesn't matter to me anyhow...why don't you just leave and let me be...." she walked towards the door and kicked him out....though she doesn't really know why she did that...but she didn't want to see Ken at that time....Ken left angrily...

She decided to take a shower to get ready for work...Kiu Wai was to pick her up at 11 am ....she still got time to get ready...she turned on the radio as she was dressing and brushing her hair....it's that same song again...she stood in front of the mirror listening to it...that verse always get to her...*maybe they're seeing something we don't darling*...she froze for a moment...the door bell startled her...she didn't realize it was time to go...it was Kiu Wai at the door...
"You ready?...whoah..Mei Ling...you don't look too well...something happened?" as he stepped in.
"Really? I look that bad?" she rushed over to the mirror...she was a little pale...maybe from not sleeping well...
"Are you up to rehearse today? Should I call in for you?" Kiu Wai was concerned.
"Noo...I'm fine...let's go...we're late..." she took her jacket and grab his hand rushing him out....

When they got to the studio...everyone is looking again...wondering why they came together...and Ken and Jamie is not around....

During the rehearsal...

Kiu Wai was being goofy...he didn't mean anything at the time...he was joking around with Mei Ling and they had a fun time making fun of each other and fool around...they were really innocent at it...but to other's eyes...it wasn't the same....ppl were thinking that there might be something going on between them.......
While Kiu Wai and Mei Ling were chasing each other around the scene, Jamie showed up and saw the whole thing...she was pissed...she came over and slapped Mei Ling on the face.....Mei Ling was really surprised and shock coz Jamie came out from nowhere....well, coz Mei Ling and Kiu Wai were in a world of their own, they didn't realize there others staring at them...especially Jamie.....Mei Ling stood there frozen for a sec.
"Jamie!! What are you doing? Are you out of your mind?" Kiu Wai scolded at Jamie and took a look at Mei Ling's face....yu can see Jamie's fingerprints on her face....Mei Ling ran into her dressing room...Kiu Wai ran after her...while Jamie stood there...she was shock at what she did too...she didn't know what came over her...
"Mei Ling!!! You alright?" he was knocking on the door...but no answer..."Mei Ling!!!! please open up..."
She was quiet for a long time...crying coz it hurts and she was thinking of what had just happened. She knew Jamie must think she and Kiu Wai had something going on.....as for her...she doesn't really know...ever since that song keep coming up and stuck to her head...it made her think about Kiu Wai more than usual....she was feeling like she is the third person in someone love life....
Kiu Wai was still knocking on the door and calling her..."Mei Ling?? Answer me...."
"I'm fine....why don't you just go on home Kiu Wai...I'll see you later..." she told him.
"Are you sure you ok? I don't know what came over Jamie...I'm sorry..." he spoke in a soft voice.
"I....I'm fine.....you should go see her...she might misunderstood us or something...just go...I'm ok..."
He wasn't sure if he should leave or not...but Mei Ling insisted that he should leave...so he did....

Kiu Wai went back to the studio and found Jamie still standing there...everyone was looking and whispering to each other....He told Jamie to go to his car...he had to change first and meet her there....While they were in the car....
"Can you tell me what the heck you were doing? That was a real hard smack you slapped on Mei Ling....what's wrong with you nowadays? Kiu Wai was really upset.
"I didn't mean to slap her...it just b/c of you...why you always flirting with her...everytime you're together you always have to touch her somehow and flirt around...ppl are talking about us breaking up b/c of Mei Ling you know!!!!" she was rambling on in a rage..
"We were just kidding...that's how we always been....there isn't anything going between us...it's just that you think too much out of everything...." he replied in a dissappointed way.
"Oh..now I'm the crazy one who like to pick a fight out of the blue...there must be something for ppl to talk about you know...maybe it's just you that didn't know...you're more comfortable around Mei Ling then me...you....." she was so upset she wasn't thinking straight anymore...
"Why don't I just take you home...I really don't want to fight with you anymore....I'm tired of this...." he changed gear and took off....dropping Jamie at her appartment...he din't walk her up though...he was steamy...though there are some thoughts going through his head now...since Jamie keep saying things about him and Mei Ling....that made him think ...unconsciously, he drove to the beach where he and Mei Ling spent the night....

Chapter 5

Kiu Wai parked his car at the meter and strolled down the beach. He went over to the rock where he and Mei Ling spent the night and sat there....staring into the darkness of the sea...closing his eyes and listening to the rustling sounds of the waves as they hit the shore. He sat there for a while. At the same time, Mei Ling took the cab to the beach where she left her car. She was about to get into her car and go home...but the sounds and breeze of the sea invited her to stay. She walked slowly down towards the beach...at a distance she saw Kiu Wai was sitting very still at the rock....She didn't think it was a good time to see him so she turned around to go back to her car. Kiu Wai heard footsteps...he turned around and saw the back of Mei Ling....
"Mei Ling???" he called her and she stopped and turned towards him...."What are you doing here this late?" he continued.
"I came to pick up my car....how about you?" she walked to him.
"Oh I just wanted some fresh air ....the sea kinda cool me off and makes me feel better.." he smiled as they leaned on the rock...."Is your face better? I'm so sorry about what happened..."
"It's not your fault....I'm fine" she was staring into the darkness of the sea......."how is she?" she added.
"I don't know....I took her home...these past couple of months we're not too good...it seems like we can't talk like before anymore...she always want to pick a fight with me...I just don't get it...." he shook his head and looked down at the sand.
"Well...being a girl, I think I can ampathize with her....she just don't want to lose you that's all...." she looked at him
"Why did you say that? Why would she be jealous? There is nothing going on between us.....we're best friends...aren't we?" he looked straight into her beautifu round eyes like he is searching for something....an answer that he doesn't know if he wanted to hear or not....he still don't know what's inside of his heart or mind....
They stared for a moment.... that song was in her head again...*we stare a little too long....we stand a little too close*...."of course we're....best friends" she turned towards the sea again.
Both were feeling a little bit uneasy....though they don't know why...but somehow....there was just something missing...was it the answer that she gave him that made them uneasy....or was it something else....
"It's getting late...I better head home now...." Mei Ling told Kiu Wai.
"I'll take you home...." he offered...forgotten her car was there.
"It's ok...I have my car...I can take myself home....Thanx!" she smiled and they both walked back to their cars.
"I'll see you tomorrow.." she told him.
"You drive carefully..." he told her as both getting into their cars.
Both feeling a little bit lost...don't really know what's bothering them...as they turned on the radio...it's that same song again....it was the first time that Kiu Wai heard the song....it struck him like it did with Mei Ling...they sat in their cars for a while....listening to the lyrics that made them think of what is bothering them....When the song was done, they drove home....it was a sleepless night for them....for some reason, images of each other keep popping up in their heads....and all the thing that Margie and Jamie said ringing in their minds....both put the pillows over their face as though they really trying to sleep and put an end to all this images...but the harder they tried to forget, the more it lingering to them....
It was really late at night.....Kiu Wai had an urge to call Mei Ling...he picked up the fone...then put it down again..."what am I doing?" he said to himself..."I must be out of my mind" he tried to go back to sleep but the fone rang......
"Hello..." in his deep voice. It was Mei Ling...she couldn't sleep so she called him....she seemed to realize something more than he does....she kinda know what's bothering her...
"Kiu Wai...did I wake you?" she said in her cute little voice.
"Mei Ling?....No....no you didn't..." he was really happy that she called....he didn't expect to hear from her this time of the night...and now....since he wanted to call her too...."Something bothering you?" he asked....coz something is bothering him.....
"Yeeeah...I've been thinking about what you said at the beach....and I wanted tooo..." she was really confused of herself and what she is about to ask him....and she decided not to...."you know what?...nevermind...sorry to bother you so late at night....I'll see you tomorrow..." she quickly hanged up...didn't even give him a chance to say anything...
"Hello? Hello? Mei Ling? Mei Ling..." Kiu Wai was really curious of what she wanted to ask him...so he called her back...
Mei Ling was feeling stupid..."why did I called him?" holding the fone....she was startled when it rang...Kiu Wai called back....she saw his number on her caller ID....closing her eyes and don't know if she should pick it up....it rang for a while.....when she decided to pick it up, he already hung up.....she was a bit sad and upset at herself..."why didn't I pick it up??!?!" she was mumbling to herself....she put the fone down and head back to bed.

She was lying there staring into space/her ceiling's fan.....she was about to fall asleep, the doorbell rang....she was in a daze....wasn't sure if she was dreaming or was there someone at her door. She got up and put on her robe then opened the door....it ws Kiu Wai.....he can't sleep at all....he had to let it out of his system....he needs to know what's on her mind....
"Kiu Wai? uhmmm...what....what are you doing here?...and how you get here so fast?" she was puzzled.
"I just have to know what's on your mind...what were you about to ask me? and why didn't you pick up your fone? I thought something happened so I came over as quickly as I can..." he replied in a rambling way....as he stepped in and closed the door behind him....They sat at the sofas....it seems like that awkwardness had dissappeared...they just have to find out the answer to their little dilemma/confusion.....
"Youuuuu want some tea or coffee?" she didn't know what to else to say...
"No...just...just tell me what's bothering you...." he quickly responded.
Mei Ling took a deep breath for she knew she can't keep her silence now since he is here....right in front of her...."well, you know there are rumors about us...." she didn't look straight at him.....for the first time she felt she can't talk to him like before...there is something about looking at him in the eyes that gives her the butterflies in her stomach.
"And?......you want to know....." trying to get it out of her..."how I feel about the rumor......or about ....you?"
"Uhmmmm....." closing her eyes as she choked on her words...her hands were expressing her awkwardness as though she was speaking through them.
All of a sudden, Kiu Wai grabbed her hands as to stop her from her silly motion...."Mei Ling....I've been thinking about it = rumor....you lately.....and I don't really know what I'm thinking about....but I seemed to spend more time think of you than Jamie....I....I just don't know ..." his tongue was all twisted and he couldn't go on....his mind was a mess....he doesn't know exactly what made him came to her place and what he was trying to say....does he still love Jamie or is he falling for Mei Ling......and if it's mutual....!@!@!@?
Mei Ling was staring into his eyes now as he was talking to her. She really wanted him to go on and finish what he was saying....to her, he's incenuating something...yet...he wasn't for he didn't finish what he wanted to say...."Kiu Wai....." the cat got her tongue too...she can't think of anything to say....both were feeling stupid and weird.
The interruption of the doorbell startled them....she went to see who it was so late at night....it was Ken...

Chapter 6

"Ken? What are you doing here?" Mei Ling was shock to see him there at that moment.....
"I wanted to see you..." as he stepped in.....and saw Kiu Wai standing at the sofa....he was shock and a bit confused..."what is he doing here so late?....what are you guys doing? What's going on?" he was upset now...thinking there was something going on between Mei Ling and Kiu Wai...
As for Kiu Wai...he doesn't really know what to say...or how to answer Ken's questions.....that went the same for Mei Ling...she was frozen/speechless...though nothing really did happened...yet....but she really can't give Ken a good answer......
Ken stood there for a moment...waiting for an answer but no one really say anything...."You know Mei Ling...I was debating about staying with you or Jenny....now, I gues my confusion is answered..." he told Mei Ling in a rage.
"Jenny? who is Jenny? What are you talking about?" Mei Ling is really confused now....just another headache added on to the one she had.
"She is my co-star in the movies I'm in...we've been seeing more of each other for the past couple of months....since you're so busy with your Kiu Wai...." as though he is making it all her fault that he's fallen for someone else.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Mei Ling was angy....yet, she felt lighter inside of her...like someone just lifted a big rock off her chest...
"The hell it is...what are you and Kiu Wai doing in your apartment this time of night? and you're in your robes...it's hard for me to belief there isn't something going on between you two..." Ken went on.
"Don't you accused her of anything now.." Kiu Wai had to jumped in...."We were just talking...we didn't do anything....the tone of your voice is like we did something bad....eventhough we did, what are you going to do about it?" Kiu Wai can't stand the way Ken talked to Mei Ling....like she did everything wrong...she pushed him to another woman's arm or something....
"Oh...now defending her huh...and you said there isn't anything going on between you? I didn't think you're that type of a girl...." that ticked off Mei Ling...she slapped him real hard and told him to leave....she slammed the door right behind him....Her hand was over her face as she leaned onto the door...she was really hurt..but she can't cry...no tears came out...she doesn't know why she can't cry....
Kiu Wai came over and patted her shoulder. "Mei Ling...I'm sorry...I didn't mean to cost you all these problems..." tried to comfort her.
"Kiu Wai...I don't know...I really don't know what is going on anymore.." she leaned forward...her head was in his chest...and he slowly wrapped his arms around her...." I know Mei Ling ...I know..." he told her....at that moment, they felt something between them...how she is so comfortable in his arms...and he, so happy to be there for her......

Though they had feelings for each other, but they didn't express themselves. It was like....you kinda feel like you're in love....but not really sure.....

At the studio while they were shooting The New Adventure of CLH, Mei Ling and Kiu Wai tried their best to put everyrhing aside to take on their roles. But somehow, their feelings for each other got stronger and stronger as the filming progresses. All the scene that they were together wasn't hard to make....it was so natural that everyone was really into them....they made a great couple on screen....no one can deny that....

As for Jamie, she felt like her relationship with Kiu Wai had faded as he took on the role of CLH. He spent more time with Mei Ling than her. Even during break, they're together. Jamie really got to know what's on Kiu Wai's mind....does he still have any feelings for her or not. When the day was over, she waited for Kiu Wai at his car. Kiu Wai was walking out with Mei Ling. They were talking, laughing and smiling as they came out....Mei Ling saw Jamie so she said goodbye to Kiu Wai and headed to her car.
"Jamie....you need to talk to me?" as he approached her.
"I think we have to really talk today..." she was down and serious.
"ok..." as he opened the car door for her. His smile wasn't a smile anymore....he had that serious look on his face as though he was thinking of what he's going to say to her. While they were in the car and drove off....
"What is it you want to talk about?" he asked her.
She sighed..."About us....you and me...where we're standing...is there a future in us?" she looked straight out the windshield.
Kiu Wai was silent for a moment....he was gathering his thought...for he didn't even think about this yet...not at all....where is he and Jamie standing...is there still love in their relationship....and yet, he and Mei Ling didn't really express their feelings towards each other. He drove into a parking lot at a park nearby. Jamie was still waiting for his answer.
His hands were grasping the steering wheel real tight....he sighed...and look straight ahead...."Well Jamie...I have to tell you the truth...I've been thinking about Mei Ling alot lately...I know I'm being unfair to you and I ....."
Jamie was crying as Kiu Wai was talking....that wasn't what she wanted to hear...They've been dating for 2 years...and now he had found someone else...that really hurted her. She got out of the car...running towards a tree. Kiu Wai ran after her....
"Jamie...Jamie!!" he caught up with her as she was standing by a maple tree. ..."I'm sorry Jamie...I really don't mean to hurt you....but I can't stop my feeling for Mei Ling....I'm very sorry.." he said in a soft voice....Though he knew he was hurting Jamie....but inside he felt better...like he just dumped a load of rocks off of him...he doesn't want to keep his dying relationship with Jamie dragging on ....and ignores his feelings for Mei Ling.
He had to do what he needed to do.
Jamie was really upset..."so all the rumors were true...you were lying to me all these times....you denied your relationship for her...and now you tell you have feelings for her?....how could you do this to me? I thought we had something special....guess not..." she was really upset and depressed at the same time.
"Jamie....I didn't know how I feel for Mei Ling until you brought it up a month ago...I didn't lie to you when you asked me...I just didn't realize I have a strong bond with Mei Ling until..."
"You don't have to explain anymore....Kiu Wai, it was a mistake that we met. Why don't you just go and leave me alone....I really don't want to see or hear what you have to say anymore....please just go!!" she cut him short and yelled at him.
"I'm sorry Jamie....I really don't want to hurt you like this...what we had was special...but I can't lie to you and make you stay with me while there is someone else in my heart....I hope you can understand...I'm really sorry..." he was really sad to have to tell her all this...though he knew she wouldn't forgive him. He stood there for a minute...but he didn't want to upset her anymore than what he did, so he turned around and left.
Jamie was standing there feeling really crummy...she was truly dissappointed at Kiu Wai. How could he did this to her. It just happened that Tony and Margie was at the park and they saw Kiu Wai left and Jamie was crying. They came over to see what's going on....

Chapter 7
"Jamie??? What's the matter? Are you alright?" Margie asked her concerning.
Jamie didn't say anything...she just stood there and tears kept coming down her cheeks....
Margie and Tony didn't ask anymore coz they kinda figure out what had happened....Kiu Wai broke up with her....
"Can we take you home?" Tony asked her in a soft concerned voice.
She just nodded her head and went with them....the whole ride to her place they were in total silence. Margie and Tony didn't what to say to comfort her. They walked her up to her apartment and said goodbye. While they went back to their car....
"You think Kiu Wai broke up with her that's why she is crying so hard?" Margie asked Tony.
"I think so...Why don't I drop you off at Mei Ling's place to see what's going on with her....and I'll go see Kiu Wai....they've been dating for a good 2 years, it's sad to see them like this...." Tony added.
"ok...I wanted to see Mei Ling anyways.....but I don't think there is anything wrong with breaking up if you don't feel the same way about each other anymore....2 years or not...it's just how you feel now that's count..." Margie expressed her feeling about the situation..."besides, I think Mei Ling and Kiu Wai would make a great couple...they're really meant for each other..." she added.
"I know Mei Ling and Kiu Wai are good couple on screen......anyways, I'm gonna have a talk with Kiu Wai..." since we're good friends I think he'll tell me what is going on.
They drove off. Margie was dropped off at Mei Ling's apartment. Mei Ling didn't know what had happened between Kiu Wai and Jamie. She was drinking tea and reading her scripts for CLH as the doorbell interrupted her.
"Margie?...hey girl...what brings you here?" she was happy to see Margie for they haven't seen each other for months...both were busy with their movies.
"I was in the neighborhood so I thought I would drop in to see how you're doing..." Margie lied.
"Oh I'm doing great!!! would you like some tea?" as she was pouring Margie a cup.
"Thanx!!...uhmmmm....actually...Mei Ling...I wasn't really in the neighborhood....I stop by coz there is something I wanted to ask you about...." she continued.
"Oh??!?! What is it Marg....you look like it's really serious..." Mei Ling looked at her...wondering what was going on...
"Well, Tony and I were at the park today and we saw Kiu Wai and Jamie....."
"So...they're dating so what's the surprised...?" though she wasn't too happy to hear about Kiu Wai and Jamie in the same sentence....a little uneasy...
"That's the thing....Jamie was crying really bad....and Kiu Wai took off.....I think he broke up with her or something...do you know what's going on?...........are you and Kiu Wai an item now?" Margie stared into Mei Ling's eyes...as to see if Mei Ling going to admit it this time...
"I.....I didn't know it happened like that....he didn't tell me anything...I don't know...." Mei Ling was confused...she doesn't really know what's on Kiu Wai's mind coz he didn't say he love her or anything. She was feeling bad too....coz she felt like it was all her fault.
"Well? arent' you gonna tell me anything? Mei Ling...if you have feelings for Kiu Wai, it's ok ....we're all grown ups...we have the right to fall in love and be loved...you don't have to lie to me...I know you....ever since we had that talk about Ken, you didn't seem to care as much like before....and truthfully, I rather see you with Kiu Wai than Ken anyhow...." Margie told her.
"Marg...I...I don't mean to make Jamie sad like this...we're friends and I don't want to be the third person in someone else's love life....besides, I don't know how Kiu Wai feel about me....he never tell me he like me in that way or anything...." she sighed...
"But do you have any feeling of love for Kiu Wai? that's the question....how you feel? It doesn't matter what other ppl say or do...it's you that I'm concerned about...we've been good friends for a long time...I really don't want to see you sad coz you don't dare to admit your love for Kiu Wai coz of Jamie....She is a grown woman...she can find her own solution...who knows...she might find love somewhere else later....don't worry about that....if you let Kiu Wai go because of that it's pretty sad..." Margie was really want Mei Ling to be true to herself....they've been best friends for years....before they were in show biz.
"Marg...I know you're right and you're my best friend...you're always on my side...but I don't feel right doing all this to Jamie....though I do admit that I've been thinking of Kiu Wai lots lately...we had a great time together....I feel really comfortable around him...It's like I can let go of everything and he'll be there for me....but...." she couldn't say anything else anymore...she was confused and undecisive....
"Well, I have to go now...but you think of what I said...I really don't want you to throw away something good in your life coz of someone else......ok...." as she walked out the door.....leaving Mei Ling there in puzzlement.

Tony went to see Kiu Wai to find out what's going on among him, Mei Ling and Jamie.....

After leaving Jamie at the park, Kiu Wai went home. He was drinking a glass of wine when Tony rang on his doorbell....
"Tony?? What brings you here to my side of the woods?" he was joking being a pleasant person he is...
"Margie and I just took Jamie home from the park..." Tony went straight to the point...."We saw her crying and you left...what's happening Kiu Wai...I thought you and Jamie were good together.....what's wrong?" inquisitive Tony was really curious....well, he and Kiu Wai are best friends for a long long time...when they were still in acting school.

"Oh you were there....well Tony, I broke up with Jamie...."

"Is it b/c of Mei Ling? You and her have feelings for each other?" Tony interrupted Kiu Wai.

Kiu Wai didn't answer him...but just slightly nodded his head and blinked his eyes....."well, I'm not really sure how Mei ling feels about me...we didn't really talk about us...I feel very comfortable around her....we have alot in common....I'm sure she feel the same way.....

Chapter 8

That night, both Mei Ling and Kiu Wai couldn't sleep again...they were thinking of what to do...should they act upon how they feel? ....or should they just let it be....don't go any further than what they have...both were afraid of losing each other as friends.

As for Mei Ling, she was feeling guilty towards Jamie. She really didn't want to hurt Jamie in that way...but what can she do? She does have feeling of love for Kiu Wai....

Kiu Wai already broken up with Jamie...he knows that he love Mei Ling, but how is he going to express his feelings for her...and when is the good time to do so? As always, when he couldn't sleep, he went for a drive to the beach...the same place where he spent time with Mei Ling....As he was strolling down to the water.... looking at the sand as he kicked them into the breeze, he thought he saw Mei Ling standing at the shore. He rushed over, but it was someone else, a small petite girl like Mei Ling....disappointed he turned around....who knows...there she was....strolling down like him...kicking the sand as she was looking at them disapated into the air. She looked up and they were staring at each other eyes to eyes....both stood there frozen for a minute....don't really know what to say to each other....though they were happy to find the other there.

"Guess you couldn't sleep either huh?" Mei Ling broke the ice.

"Yeah....and you?" he nodded his head as he was coming towads her.

"Me too...." she replied in a soft voice as she coming towards him. Both walked together to the rock where they used to sit on and stare into the darkness of the sea..."So, what seems to bother you this time?" Mei ling was half serious and half joking....she really want to know what's on Kiu Wai's mind....and hoping he would spill his heart out tonight.

Kiu Wai's face was looking serious...his jokingly thingyy smile disappeared from his face....he looked straight into Mei Ling's eyes and said..."It's you..." they were quiet for a minute...staring into each other's eyes....Mei ling eyes were like asking him...."you're serious?!@!"....and Kiu Wai's was saying..."Yes, I'm dead serious"...

"How do you feel about me?" Kiu Wai went on.

She didn't answer right away....."I....I...." she got up and walked towards the water as she talk..."I know there is something in my heart that's telling me I'm falling for you....but I don't know if it's the right thing to do..." she slightly looked back at him.

"I feel the exact same way..." as he got up and walked to her. As he was standing really close behind her, she turned around and looked up into his face...."What should we do?" she asked him. He put both hands on her shoulder and pulled her to him...she didn't object...."All I know is that I don't want to lose you...and I don't want to miss out the chance to be with you..." he told her as she lies in his arms.

Though they're together now, but they want to keep their relationship in the low profile. They have to finish making CLH serie. And that would take several months until every scenes are done. During the shooting, every thing went really smoothly. Especially, all the love scenes that they're in together. Everyone was amazed at how they can be so compatable. They didn't know Kiu Wai and Mei Ling are one now. It was like Mei ling and Kiu Wai feel/read each other's mind....every moves they made were like they had planned them ahead of time...so natural...

Soon the final shot was done and it was the openning night of CLH....Mei Ling, in her Siu Ching costume along with Kiu Wai as CLH, were at the openning show. All the cameras and reporters were on them. Everyone love the way they look and how they were together all the time. During the interviews, something came up that lead to their relationship...

"Mei Ling...how do you cope with Ken in porn movies?...and we heard he is seeing Jenny, his porn co-star? Does it affect your acting skills in this series? a reporter asked.

At first Mei ling didn't know what to say. She doesn't care what Ken does or anything about him....but she wasn't sure if Kiu Wai wanted to make their relationship in the open....she looked up at him as to see what he wants to do...

Kiu Wai looked down at her face. He can read her eyes expressions...He turned to the reporter and replied for Mei Ling...."Actually, what Ken does and who he seen is not a concern for Mei Ling....her acting skills were never affected by any factors from Ken's action....He can do whatever he likes coz they're no longer a couple.."

"Whoahhhh!!! When did this happened? Is it because of you in this serie that made Mei Ling broke up with Ken?" the reporter was joking with Kiu Wai...

Kiu Wai had a thingying smile on his face as he answer the reporter...."You can say that..." he looked down at Mei Ling with a smile on his face...he wanted to see if she would object to him announcing their relationship to the press. She just have a shy smile on her face as she looked back at him....so he went on...."Mei Ling and I are together now...she is as much my girlfriend as I'm her boyfriend..." he continued...his eyes were looking at Mei Ling the whole time.

The news shocked everyone....though they knew about the rumors of Mei Ling and Kiu Wai in love...but they didn't think they would admit it in public...especially when all the cameras were on them too...this is the biggest news ever...."Was it because of your role in this serie with Mei Ling that made she fall for you?" the reporter was joking/asking Kiu Wai.

"Well, you just have to see the serie and judge for yourself.." Kiu Wai being his thingyy pleasant self...it was a good way to promote the serie. Well, all the people involving in the making of the CLH serie kinda figure that out during the shootings....both Mei Ling and Kiu Wai were always together even during break time. They spent all the time around each other.

Chapter 9

After they made their relationship public, Kiu Wai asked Mei Ling to move in with him. They bought a nice villa at the beach where they always go to when they have sleepless nights. It was like a dream comes true. Everyday they can enjoy the cool breeze and sounds of the sea.

One clear night, with the moon shining bright in the dark sky, as they were standing at the balcony looking at the moon and stars, talking and joking around....

Kiu Wai was pointing at an empty space in the sky...."do you see that little bald spot right there?...there were supposed to be two really bright stars there...." he looked at her.

"Where? how do you know so much about stars? what happened to them?" she was curious.

"Well....GOD took those stars and made your eyes...that's how you have beautiful sparkling eyes..." he replied with his thingyy smile at her...."Ouch!!" she hit him...."Is that how you flirt with all the girls?" she asked.

"Noooo....not every girl have such bright round eyes like yours.....I have to use other lines with them....yours is fresh..." he kept on joking....

"Ahhhwwww....I see....so that's how you got Jamie....throwing lines at her....." she was kinda upset..."hmmmm....I don't know if it's a good or bad thing fallen for you....you're such a flirt..." she pouted.

"Oh...common...I was just kidding....and no...I didn't use any line with Jamie....we were in a serie together and that how we were together.....Don't you be jealous now...you come last you know...can't be jealous of those before you..." he kept it going again....with a thingyy smile on his face...he just wanted to see how Mei Ling would react...

"Whatever!!@!...You're mine now and I forbid you to flirt with anyone else..." she pinched him with a frown on her face.

"Yes Mame...." he pinched his ears and pretended to kneel down....she stopped him...and said..."Kiu Wai....do you really love me?" she was serious.

He saw the seriousness in her face and stop kidding around...he stood up and put his hands on her shoulders as he looked straight into her face..."Of course I love you...I wouldn't ask you to move in with me if I don't..." he was really serious.

"Was it because of that song and we were casted in many series together that why you broke up with Jamie and be with me?" She still want to know more....

"I have to admit that song did made me realize my feelings for you. And yes...all the roles we were in together made me love you more...." he replied...still serious.

"So if you were to be in a role with another girl, you would fall for her too then huh?" she frowned and looked down at the floor of the balcony.

"Don't be silly....that wouldn't happen.." he told her...seeing her frown, he knew it really bothers her.

"Why not? since you fell for Jamie when you were in a role with her....then with me....why not other girls?" she insisted.

"Well, all I know is that I only want you and you only....don't be silly and think too much...." he held her in his arms. His hands were rubbing her back and pressed her tight against him......"Mei Ling...why don't we get engage?" he popped the question.

She was surprised that he asked...."Is that how you propose?" she looked up at him...."Or you just saying it because you don't want me to think too much?"

"I'm serious......I really want to have a family with you....though we only been dating for a couple of months, but I know you're the one for me..." his face was dead serious and dead gorgeous....She didn't say anything...the happy shy smile on her face answered it all....He bent down and kissed her on the lips (Chinese/French kiss...whichever you want...hehehe).

Chapter 10

The news of their engagement spreaded all over HK. Everyone was talking about it. The people at the studio were talking about how fast Kiu Wai and Mei Ling relationship grow. It happened that Jamie and Margie were around and overheard the conversation. She wasn't too happy....well, more like being insulted. Kiu Wai dated her for over 2 years and he didn't make any commitment....he did't ask her to move in or to marry him. And now....he only been with Mei Ling for a couple of months and they were getting engaged?!

Seeing the unhappy frown on Jamie's face....Margie comforted her as a friend...they were shooting a series together......"Well, don't be like that Jamie....things weren't meant to be for you and Kiu Wai....but you're a beautiful girl....life goes on....cheer up!!" Margie patted her on the shoulder.

Jamie put up an act....."Oh...I'm fine...who cares if they get engage or not....things might not work out for them either....who knows...." she walked away fast after that...she didn't want to talk to Margie much because she knew Margie is Mei Ling's best friend.

Margie just shrugged her shoulders and left the scene too. On her way out, she saw Mei Ling walking in....she walked up to her...

"Mei Ling...I don't think you should go in there now...there is a timed-bomb ticking fast in there...." she tilted her head to the direction that jamie went.

"Why? She's in there?" Mei ling confirmed...looking at Margie with her eyes saying "it's that bad huh?"

"Yeah....where is Kiu Wai anyway? Aren't you two always showing up together where ever you go?" with a teasing smile on her face...

"Oh don't be jealous....I'm sure you and Tony are like tar and feathers too...." Mei ling joked right back....."He's parking the car...he'll be here in a minute."

"So where is the ROCK?" Margie was anxious to see Mei ling's engagement ring. Mei Ling put up her left hand and showed it to Margie...."WOWOWOW!!! He's really going all out for ya huh....it looks gorgeous!!" as she was examining the diamond on Mei Ling's finger.

Jamie happened to come out and saw Mei Ling and Margie talking and showing off her diamond ring. Oh that just steamed her up even more...she is boiling hot now...."So what? You haven't seen a diamond before in your life?" she was being nasty to Margie.

"YEAH!! not a huge one like this!!" Margie came back at her..."I'm sure you haven't seen it either.....oh sorry...no one propose to you yet..." she added. Mei Ling was elbowing Margie to tell her to stop....don't go on....she doesn't want to make a scene here...

Jamie face was all green and yellow...it looked like she lost it all.....

Kiu Wai walked in and she gave him that hatred stare.....Kiu Wai didn't say anything to her...he just nodded his head as in saying "hi"....he walked over to Mei Ling.

Jamie can't stand the sight of them together, she stomped away.

"I think she still in love with you..." Mei Ling looked up at Kiu Wai....and giving him a look....the kind that said..."you're not gonna feel bad and fall for her are ya?"

Kiu Wai looked right back and her..."you girls always have doubt about us men..." he shook his head and pinched her cheek.

"Ok ok....I'm here...don't make it like I don't exist now....EElll....you two make me sick..." Margie interrupted with a joking smile.

"Oh sorry....hi Margie....didn't see you there.." Kiu Wai kidding with her.

"Alright now Kiu Wai...I know you got lots of love in the air...and I'm small but not that small...." she put her hands on her hips...

"What's with all the commotion?" Tony walked in.

"Your best friend thinks he's some hot stuff coz he got my best friend to lock up her life with him..." Margie turned to Tony and pointing at Kiu Wai.

"Congratulations!!! It's great news...the whole town is talking about you two....so when is the date?" Tony asked Kiu Wai and Mei Ling.

"We don't know yet.....maybe next Spring....not sure...have to see when is a good day..." Kiu Wai replied.

"You're making Margie mad at me....she got on my case about marriage too....see what you did....get your friends in trouble...." Tony added.....

"What? I was just talking about them....though you want to marry me, I have to think about it you know....I'm not going to be like Mei Ling and lock myself up in your world...." she defended herself....

"Oh yeah?? So am I out of trouble now...don't have to worry about marriage anytime soon?" Tony glanced over at Margie and she hit him on his chest....."ok ok....I was just kidding....our time will come..whenever it comes..." he smiled at her.

"We have to go see the director....I think he has another series he want us to be in....you guys want to go for dinner tonight?" Kiu Wai asked Tony and Margie.

"Sure...what time? ...and where....at the usual place we always hanged out?" Margie asked Mei Ling and Kiu Wai.

"Yeah....around 7:00/7:30..." Mei ling replied.

They left..........

Chapter 11

Kiu Wai and Mei Ling went to see the director. He has a new series that he wanted to cast them in...it's UWS....

"In this series you have a twin...so you take upon two parts...one..you'll be paired up with Kiu Wai ...and the other with someone else....you think you can handle it?" he asked Mei Ling...

"I have to see the script before I can say...but I'm sure it would be fine.." she replied.

"For you as always, you're going to be the charming handsome conman who falls in love with the rich girl...and that's Mei Ling....I don't think you would object to this role...it was written for you.." he smiled as he talked to Kiu Wai.

"If that's the case....we're happy to take the parts..." Kiu Wai happily replied.

"Ok then....you take the script home and read through them...the dress rehearsal is within a month...I'll see you two then.." the director told them.

"So we still have some vacation time then huh..." Kiu Wai looked at Mei Ling and smiled.

"Ok you two....have fun...but don't forget to read the script over now...." the director looked at them.

They left the director office and head out. It was only 6:00pm...they weren't supposed to meet with Margie and Tony until 7:00...

"So what do you want to do? It's only 6 o'clock...we have an hour to kill..." Mei Ling looked at Kiu Wai.

"An hour? oh that should be enough....let's go home..." Kiu Wai looked at Mei Ling with that thingyy smile of his...

She hit him...."Stop kidding around....you're always like that.." her face was blushing as she scolded at him.

"Well...you asked..." Kiu Wai continued.

"You know what?...I do want to go home....I want to stroll down the beach again....feel like I need some sea breeze.." Mei Ling told him.

"Are you sure you don't like my idea?" he was laughing. She hit him again...and they headed home. They strolled down the beach for half an hour and it was time to go meet up with Margie and Tony.

At the restaurant....

Margie and Tony were already there waiting for them.

"Well it's about time you two showed up...." Margie said.

"We're on time....I told you b/t 7-7:30 ....it's only 7:10..." Mei Ling replied.

"So what series did the director offered you?" Tony asked Kiu Wai.

"It's a light comedy series...I'm the handsome conman who's gonna sweep her off her feet....she is supposed to be a rich girl with a twin..." Kiu Wai replied to Tony as he looked into Mei Ling's face.

"Oh so you gonna have a double taste of her huh?" Margie laughed at Mei Ling.

"Noooo....her twin is supposed to be with someone else...we don't know who yet....anyways, the rehearsal is not until another month...so we have time to do something fun...you guys want to hang out...going on a trip?" Kiu Wai asked Tony and Margie.

"That's nice....I really want to...but don't know if Tony is available....he's always busy with something..." Margie was a little sad.

"Oh common Tony...you have to take sometime to spend with your girl now..." Mei Ling looked at Tony as she patted Margie shoulder.

"Actually, I do have sometime free for the next week and a half....maybe we could go somewhere close....not out the the country....what you think Margie?" Tony asked.

Margie's face lit up...."sure!! that would be fine with me...so where do you want to go?" she turned and asked Mei Ling and Kiu Wai.

They looked at each other and said..."how about to Macau"...we can camp out and do something fun in the wild...is that alright?" Kiu Wai asked Tony and Margie.

"Sure....I like that...dont' know about the girls...they might not like the idea of the wild...you know...they need a real bed and AC....." he laughed.

"We don't need AC...but a comfortable bed would be nice..." Mei Ling replied.

"Men...they think we're cheesy stuff...let show them what we're made off....so be it....when are we heading out guys?" Margie asked the guys.

"Go home pack tonite gals....coz we're going tomorrow..." Kiu Wai told them...."we'll head off early in the morning....don't want to waste any time now....we really want to see what you gals are made of..." he laughed in his thingyy way.

After dinner they went home and packed. Early next morning, Tony and Margie were at their door......

"Well...it's time to head out now...hope you gals brought enough stuff to use for the next week...." Kiu Wai said to the girls.

"We're ready....think this is enough..." Mei Ling brought out 2 huge luggages.

"Oh my gosh...I said for a week not months....you got enough for all of us in there..." Kiu Wai told her. Tony and Margie were laughing hard.

"I was just kidding...it's only one bag....I got all my stuff and some of yours too...." Mei Ling told Kiu Wai.

"My stuff??? I thought I got everything in my bag..." he pulled out his mid-sized bag.

"Yeah...like hair gel, shaving cream, shampoo...nick nacks like that you know...." she gave him the look.

"ok ok...all the little details only girls remember.." he shook his head..."let's go then..." the turned to the others and they took off.

It wasn't a long boat ride to Macau....about 3 hrs.....they got there and went to the camping ground....it was a nice place in the woods. The guys set up tents while the girls gather some dried woods for a camp fire. They play and joke around....having lots of fun as the girls making fun of the guys.....

"so it takes two men to put up one tent huh....with the rate you guys are going, we might be sleeping in the same tent tonite.." Margie commented for the guys were having problem with the set up....

"It's not our fault that we're missing a stake...we have to subtitute it with a stick....hopefully it not going to cave in on us tonite..." Tony told Margie.

"oh you two can share that tent....us gals going to stay in the good one....we want to see what you're made of with a broken tent...." Margie laughed at them.

"Oh that's fine...just don't run into ours when you gals are scare of the dark..." Kiu Wai told the gals as he and Tony were laughing ....

"You don't have to worry about that....we just hope you guys won't sneak into ours at night..." Mei Ling came back right at him....she and Margie were laughing too...

The sun was setting as the guys about to finish with the tents and get the fire going. The girls were getting the food ready....they made sandwiches....

"we suffer all day long and that's all you gals have to feed us with?" Kiu Wai commented about the food.

"What you expect us to make? A steak dinner? we're out here in the wild...you're lucky that we got this along...if you don't want to eat it...then there is more for us..." Mei Ling told him as she was smiling with Margie...

"Ok ok...that's fine....we have no other choice....man...Kiu Wai..I feel sorry for you...you're not gonna have any decent meals with Mei Ling's cooking.." Tony was shook his head as he kidd with Kiu Wai...

"I know.....oh well....guess I'll just have to swallow love and air everyday...." he laughed as he replied to Tony...they were looking at each other laughing....

"ok that's enough guys.....you really having fun making fun of me huh...." Mei Ling frowned.

"Yeah you two...especially you Tony...at least Kiu Wai got love and air...you got nothing..." Margie said to Tony.
Margie wanted to make Mei Ling feel better.

"Common Mei Ling...we were just kidding....you're a great cook...well, just for me to know though...alright..." Kiu Wai came over to her and rubbed her back. She smiled again and looked at him straight in the face.

"so what you gals want to do now....it's a perfect time to tell scary story don't you think?" Tony asked.

"Sure...if you got one...let us have it..." Margie answered.

They gathered around the campfire and began telling their scary stories....Tony started first. When he got the scary part....Kiu Wai spooked Mei Ling and she shreaked really loud. It startled everyone....even Tony himself.

She hit Kiu Wai and he got up and ran away as she chased him around with a stick in her hand. Both Margie and Tony were sitting there laughing.

As nite falls....they went into their tents to sleep....

"Don't you guys be scaring us with any of your pranks..." Margie told the guys.

The guys didn't say anything....they just looked at each other with the mischievous smile and went into their tent.

Chapter 12

The gals were inside their tent getting ready for bed....well, they have to talk a bit before they turn themselves in....

"Mei Ling...you seems to be really happy with Kiu Wai...he keeps you young with his humor huh...." Margie told her as they were lying in their sleeping bags.

"Yeah...I do feel really happy with him....his light hearted jokes always make me laugh...he manage to put a smile on my face all the time....I didn't feel like that when I was with Ken....I'm really glad I made a right decision..." she smiled.

"I'm really happy for you....things are working out really well...your carreer and love life....you make lots of us jealous you know..." Margie smiled and kidd with her.

"Whatever...I'm sure you and Tony are very happy too...he seems to care alot about you...it's hard to find true love nowadays....and don't you think it so funny that we end up with them....best friends and best friends? I'm really happy with the way things turned out..." she turned her head towards Margie.

While the girls were chit chatting...the guys were up to something...they got ugly scary masks and stood outside the tent....overhearing the whole conversation b/t the gals. They waited until the girls turned out their light so they can see their shadows on the tent.....

"Aaaaahhhhhhhhh" Mei Ling and Margie screamed. They were startled..."Ok guys...we know it's you...stop it!!" Mei Ling told them.

"That wasn't nice.....you could have scare us to death you know..." Margie added....

The guys tried to play it off...they didn't answer....

"Common out...we're through with fooling around with you two..." Mei Ling was wondering if it was really them since they're not responding....she got a little frighten..."Kiu Wai? I'm not kidding..." her voice was shaky....

"Tony?? We mean it ...stop it...it's not funny anymore..." Margie went on. Her voice was a bit scared too.

The guys knew the gals were really scared now so they turned off the flash lights and took off their masks.....they pretended like they were coming from a bathroom break....."Did you girls called us?" Kiu Wai put head into the tent first..."We heard you saying something when we walking back from our bathroom break.." he got in the tent then came Tony.

"Are you sure it wasn't you earlier outside our tent?" Mei Ling questioned them.

"Nooooo....what happened? who's outside your tent?" Tony played dump.

"Stop kidding around....we don't like it!!" Margie was still a bit scared and upset.

"I swear it wasn't us..." Kiu Wai added ....tried to put up a straight face.

"You're not gonna leave us in here by ourselves then....I don't want that thing back and you're not around..."Mei Ling told them.

"Oh don't fall into their trap Mei Ling....I think it's them.....they just want to scare us so we let them stay with us...." Margie looked at Tony with her unbelieving eyes.

"Is that right?" Mei Ling looked straight into Kiu Wai's eyes....he can't lie to her....she can read him right now...."Oh I hate you!!" she hit him hard on his chest.

"Ok Ok....I admit it...it was us....girl...you hit so hard..." he grabbed her hands and yanked her into him as he wrapped his arms around her.

"See? I knew it them..." Margie was hitting Tony too.

"We were just having a little fun...it's really funny how you girls can scream sooo loud and high pitch..." Tony was laughing as he sat closer to Margie.

"So you think you're a lucky girl to have found me huh?" Kiu Wai looked down at Mei Ling...

"Awwwww....you were evedroppings too huh?" Mei Ling pinched him. He didnt' say anything but just laughed.

"ok ok...we're gonna quit with the jokes...you girls get some rest and we'll be right in our tent...if you need us just hollar...." the guys went out back to their tent.
The next morning.....
The girls got up first and already freshen themselves up...the guys were still sleeping in their tent. The girls decided to revenge on them....they unhooked the tent and it fell in on the guys.....

"What the???" Kiu Wai and Tony were trying to find their way out....

The girls were standting outside laughing...."So how do you guys like being trick on huh?" Margie said.

"Very funny girls...very funny...hope you girls can put it back together too...coz if not...we're gonna camp in your tent for the rest of the week..." Tony replied...still trying to find the way out. They finally found their way out...

"One to one ....not too bad girls....but be careful...there are gonna be more things coming to ya..." Kiu Wai and Tony laughed as they gather their stuff wash up.

"Oh...bring it on...we'll be ready....show us what you got...we forgot to bring our magnifying glass, we won't see it..." the girls told them as they were laughing/giggling so hard...

"Oh...you got jokes now huh....? We don't want to scare you so we won't show you..." Kiu Wai came right back at them...and they too were laughing as they walked away.

"Can you believe them?...Scare us?" Mei Ling shook her head as she told Margie.

"Well...he's your man....I don't wanna know..." Margie laughed and ran...she affraid Mei Ling gonna hit her.

It wasn't long before the guys came back...."So you two really want us to camp in your tent huh...you could have put up our tent while we were gone..." Tony told them.

"Us??? putting your tent together? Oh no...you guys can just sleep under the stars from now on if you don't want to put yours together....." Mei Ling replied.

"Whoah...Kiu Wai...your girl is feisty nowaday...what did you do to her? I don't remember her being like this before..." Tony laughed and elbowed Kiu Wai.

"oh that's what I love about her...." Kiu Wai replied. Mei Ling was smiling happily....

"Oh give me a break....you already got her...don't have to butter her up like that anymore...shhheshhh.." Tony told him.

"so what you guys have planned for us today?" Margie asked.

"We were thinking of hiking and fishing today ....are you girls game?" Kiu Wai answered.

"Sure thing...we're ready for anything..." Mei Ling replied.

They took a long hike in the woods...the girls were worned out when they got to the pond where the guys wanted to go fishing....The guys handed them the worm so they can hook their lines....

"You're kidding me? you want us to touch a worm??? oh no...you can hook it and we'll hold the pole..." Margie told them.

"Thought you said you're game? Affraid of worms...how can you go fishing?" said Kiu Wai.

"Well, we said we're all game for fishing and hiking...we didn't say anything about hooking up worms..." Mei Ling replied.

"Alright....should never argue with girls...they always have things to say..." Tony told Kiu Wai.

So the guys hooked up the worms and handed the girls the fishing rod....they sat their fishing for the whole day....

"Oh my gosh....all day and this is all we got? 3 little fishies?" Margie commented.

"And the sad thing is that....those are the one we caught...guess the guys are going to starve tonite.." said Mei Ling...she and Margie were giggling at each other.

The guys were looking at each other ambarrased...they didn't catch anything all day....then suddenly....Kiu Wai caught one....a big one too...."Guess, we don't have to starve tonite then huh..." he told Tony and they laughed.

They packed up and head back to camp.....

Chapter 13

On their way back to camp, the sun was just slowly dissapearing from the horizon....there still a little light left in the sky....but not from the moon...Mei Ling didn't see the ditch in front of her and she twisted her ankle. It wasn't too bad, but it hurts when she walk. Kiu Wai carried her the whole way back. (you know...just like the way he caught/save her when the Bat Prince ambushed her from behind..)

It was a long walk back...they were really far from their camp site. They're about 2/3 of the way....Tony and Margie were walking in front....Kiu Wai carrying Mei Ling...he was tired so he sat down at a tree stump.

"You know what? Why don't you and Margie get back first...don't have to wait for us....with this rate, I think we'll be forever..." Kiu Wai was tired from carrying her all that way...

"You sure? we can wait..." Tony replied.

"No..just go...it's getting dark real quick, I don't want all of us to get stuck here...we'll find our way back..." Kiu Wai insisted.

"Are you sure this is not one of your prank too Kiu Wai..." Margie was suspicious...

"What? are you scare of Tony?....I'm just kidding...no...Mei ling is kinda heavy...I need to rest on the way...so don't want to make you guys wait for us..." he joked. Mei Ling gave him the look..."Awwww....now I'm fat huh....never mind...I'll crawl back...don't need to carry me anymore..." she tried to get down from his arms.

"I was just kidding...." he grabbed onto her...."if you're fat...there'll be more of you for me to love..." he smiled at her.

"ok...that's a bit kinky...you and your lines...I don't know how you put up with him..." Margie turned to Mei Ling.

"I don't know either....hmmm....I might have to reconsider about it..." Mei Ling replied with a smile as she looked at Kiu Wai...her arms were around his neck..."don't you drop me now.."

"Ok...then we'll head back and get the fish ready first...you take your time and hurry back..." Tony winked at Kiu Wai.

"What was that for? Don't think I didn't catch that..." Margie asked Tony...

"Just go girl....you talk too much..." Tony told her.

"Oh...so I'm a blabber mouth now huh?" Margie scolded Tony as they walked away, down the trail.

Mei Ling turned to Kiu Wai..."so...you got enough rest? can we go now? I'm hungry..."

"Why rush? don't you love the scene?.." he pointed over at the setting sun...all you can see were some goldish orange glare in the sky...a true beauty.

"Oh yeah...haven't seen that for awhile...it's beautiful.." she commented. She was still in his arms as he was sitting on the tree stump. (hope you gals can see that image

"ok...lets go..." he stood up and walked towards camp direction...."you enjoying this so far?"

"It's really nice...I love camping...it makes me feel so free...and especially when you're around..." she told him.

He smiled and looked at her..."Think we can do this again after we are married?"

"hmmmm....who says I'm going to marry you...?" she had that cute half shy half smart smile on her.

"FYI...you're engaged to me...you're bound to marry me..." he told her as he looked at her face...his eyebrows were slightly raised.

"I still can change my mind you know.." she went on and wrapped her arms around his neck/shoulder tighter...He pretended to drop her....."Don't you drop me now..." she told him.

"Oh I'll make sure that won't happen...you're mine for sure..." he told her with a big smile on his face.

Since they talked all the way back...it didn't seem to be that long before they see Tony and Margie again. They were cooking the fish on a stick by the fire....
Kiu Wai put Mei Ling down next to the campfire where Tony and Margie is smoking the fishes...

"My arms are all numb.....that was one long hike...that's it no more hiking for the rest of the week..." Kiu Wai complained.

"Oh....you only carried me a little bit and now you're whining already huh..? come here...I'll massage them for you..cry baby.." Mei Ling told him as she was massaging his arms.

"Will you two ever stop touching each other? Everytime we turn around, if he is not touching you ...you're touching him.....geeshhh...." Margie told Kiu Wai and Mei Ling while she was shaking her head.

"Don't be jealous Margie....I'll tell Tony to touch you more often..." Kiu Wai told her. She threw a rock at him...

"Watch it!! you might hit me instead.." Mei Ling yelled while she duck..

"Get out of the way then..." Margie told her...she really want to hit Kiu Wai with one..

"I can't!!!"

"You love him that much huh?....your man is more valuable than your friend huh...?(Trong sac khinh ban)" Margie told her.

"But of course..." Kiu Wai interrupted...he was laughing as he duck behind Mei Ling....knowing Margie wouldn't throw at her...

"Noooooo....my ankle hurts...I can't move.." Mei Ling was blocking her head...

"Fine!! you're lucky she's there...or else..." Margie told Kiu Wai.

"You guys are soooo childish....just go over and hit him...don't have to throw a rock at him..." Tony told Margie...he was turning the fish on the stick.

"Hey...why you tell her to do that for...thought you're my best friend....." Kiu Wai responded.

"yeah...you're my best friend...but not as important as my girl...hehehe..." Tony laughed...he wanted to butter up Margie....

"Oh I see....so that's how it is huh....see if I'll save you from her when she abuse ya...." Kiu Wai laughed.

"Alright break it up guys....so is the fish ready? I'm hungry..." said Mei Ling...

"You better make lots of money...coz that girl is always hungry...everywhere we go....all she wants is to eat eat eat ..." Tony made fun of Mei Ling...

"Hmmmm...you got a point there....I didn't realize that all this time...she does eat alot doesn't she..?" Kiu Wai continued where Tony left off and they break out laughing hard.

Mei Ling squeezed his arms real hard...."you think that's funny huh?" she was grinding her teeth..

"Ouch ouch!!! see what you've done...she's killing me over here..." Kiu Wai told Tony.

"Oh well, you dug your own grave...that's what you get for having a smart mouth...." Margie told him.

"The fish is ready....who's first? oh I didn't have to ask...you...right? Mei Ling..." Tony commented.

Chapter 14

After they finished their delicious nature meal...regardless how measly the morsel was, they decided to play truth or dare....

"So who will go first?" Margie asked.

"Let's draw sticks...who ever get the shortest will be the first victim..." Mei Ling suggested. Little did she knows, she was the first victim....

"ahmmmm.....let see....where was your first make-out? huh?" Margie quickly asked her.

"in the back of my cousin's car...." she replied with ease..

It's Kiu Wai's turn....."when did you first kissed a girl on the lips?" Margie continued.

"When I was 12...."

"Whoah....you started out early didn't ya?" Margie commented.

"Well, what can I say....she was giving me CPR....heheh..."he told them...

"Hahhaaahahha!! you called that a kissed?" they all laughed real hard....including Kiu Wai...

"ok it's my turn to ask..." Mei Ling said...."Marg...are you still a virgin?" she had the evil smile on her face...

"I already know the answer to that so don't need to dare her...hehehehe..." Tony laughed.

"you do? ok....but she's not telling us...we don't....so let see....hmmmmm......I dare you to eat that worm..." Mei Ling pointed at the worm in the bucket.

"Eeeelllll......I rather tell the truth than have that thing in my mouth...ok...ok....NO!!...happy?" she told them...

"We figured that.....hehehe....It's Tony turn....let see...." Mei Ling went on...."what juicy stuff can we extract from him?" she and Kiu Wai were looking at each other mischievously....."hmmmm.....where is the weirdest place did you do it?" they smiled sneakily.

"On my mom's kitchen table......that wasn't bad..." Tony replied right away....

"That was no fun..." Mei Ling was kinda dissappointed that no one really take the dare yet....

"Ok Mei...It's my turn to ask you..." said Kiu Wai...."So when is your first time?" he was curious...

Mei Ling gave him that look..the kind that said..."why are you asking me that?!?!?@?!@?....he face was red and she looked like she about to choke him...

"soooooo?...common we want to know..." Margie and Tony getting excited.

"What's the dare?" she said abruptly.

"Not going to tell huh?....ok...let see....I dare you to kiss Tony on the mouth..." Kiu Wai told her...

"What? you want Marg to kill me? what kind of bf are ya?...I don't want to play anymore..." she wanted to cheat and tried to get out.....

Kiu Wai pulled her back down...she fell on him...."hey...don't you tried that...it's not gonna work this time.......soooo? arn't ya gonna tell us?" he went on.

She looked right in his face.....and frowned...."it was with you dummy!!!" she was all blushing red.....

Tony and Margie were looking at each other....they had that look on them tooo....."ohhhhhhhhhhhh..." the said.

"Really?!?!?!" Kiu Wai was happy. He had that thingyy smile on his face.....

They continued with the game for a long time. Until it was getting late in the night...and it's about time for them to turn themselves in. Since they had so much fun with truth or dare, they couldn't really go to sleep rite away...

"You want to go for a walk with me Margie?" Tony asked.

"Sure....since I couldn't sleep now....have to take a walk to digest all these truth..." Margie told him....and they laughed as they strolled into the darkness of the woods with a flashlight.

"So....are you tired yet?" Kiu Wai turned to Mei Ling.

"No...not really....I can't beleive you asked me such a thing..." she punch him on his chest.

"Ouch.....what? I just wanted to know...and it's a good truth or dare question wasn't it..?" he was massaging his painful chest.

"That's not funny....so you think you're happy since you're the first huh?....now tell me, am I your first?" she looked straight into his eyes with a spark in hers.

"What? the game is over....let's go to bed..." he grabbed her arm and pulled her to his tent.

"Noooo...." she yanked her arm back..."too hard to say?" her big round eyes were opened wide and about to kill him with her look...

"You really want to know huh?" he looked at her..."ok....you want the truth or lie?" he kidd around wanting to make her throw a rage....and she did....she hit him and he ran...knowing she can't catch him with her injured ankle.....but she hopped her way over to him and hit him hard anyway...

"Ouch ouch....ok ok...I'll tell ya..." he was grabbing her hands....he calmed her down a little and said..."you're the first....happy?" he has a sweet half smie on his face as he tilt his head down to see her face/eyes....

"For real?" in her soft voice....her face was blushing and happy...her smile was kinda shy.

"You don't believe me?....it's hard to believe but it's the truth...I might be flirty and out going on the outside...but I don't do that with just anyone....guess I still have that traditional bug in me..." he smiled at her.

They were staring into each other's eyes.....it was like an intimate moment...he lifted her chin up and bent down to kiss her....and she kissed him back....their arms were wrapping around each other.......

It so happened that Tony and Margie walked back at that moment and saw them....

"Guess I have to camp with you tonite..." Tony told Margie with a smile. They left Kiu Wai and Mei Ling alone and walked around to their tent.

"You're always how to sweet talk a girl (anh mieng luoi qua ha..)" with a shy happy, satisfied smile. Their eyes were staring straight at each other. He pulled her closer with his free hand (not the one he supporting his body) They lied in each others arms and went to bed.....

The next morning....which is their 3rd day here at camp....
Tony and Margie got up and went over to get Kiu Wai and Mei Ling......knocking on their tent...

"Hey guys!! are ya up yet....the sun is way up in the sky already...Didn't you have enough lastnight?" Tony said jokingly....he and Margie smiled in a mischievous way...but there was no answer..."hello??? common now...get up lazy bums!!" he knocked harder on the tent.

"Looking for us?" Kiu Wai and Mei Ling startled them from behind...they got up early this morning and went to look at the dawn as the sun first rise in the morning....

"You scare the thing out of us...where did you guys go so early in the morning?" Margie rerpemanded them...

"We went to look see the dawn...you guys were sleeping so soundly that we didn't want to disturb ya.." Mei Ling replied......"so what are we doing today?" she asked Tony and Margie.

"We were going to ask you two..." Margie replied.

"How about boat riding? It would be fun.." Mei Ling suggested.

"That's fine with us...." Tony shrugged as he agreed.

"Ok then..let's pack up some stuff and go.." said Kiu Wai.

They grab their spare change of clothes and fishing gears incase they fall into the water and want more fish on a rod. When they got to the boating dock, they were surprised to find Jamie there. She was with a guy friend and they were going boating too. Everyone was at the rental booth....

"What a coincident to see you here!@!.." said Jamie to Kiu Wai. she didn't even look at Mei Ling...."btw, this is my bf...Frankie" she threaded her arm into Frankie's arm.

"Hi!! Nice to meet you.....this is my..."

"Your fiance...Mei Ling...I know who you guys are....have seen many of your series....you two really have great chemistry together..." Frankie interrupted. Jamie's face wasn't too happy with his last comment. She quickly took back her arm and said..."our boat is here...let's go.." she told Frankie.

"Nice meeting you..." Frankie told the gangs as he was yanked by Jamie to the boat.

Mei Ling looked at Kiu Wai and he shrugged with his head slightly tilted to the side (like in CLH..at the beginning when they first meet again at the hotel and the gals were making fun of her).

"Ok...we got the tickets for our boat...." Tony told them as he was looking at the boat number on the ticket....they all went on the same one....

Kiu Wai was fastened the lifevest for Mei Ling and him...."hope you know how to swim coz I surely don't....you have to pull me out of the water if I happen to fall in.." he smiled at her.

"Oh don't worry...I'll wait until you half drown then I'll get you out...." she told him with an evil smile on her face.

"Oh I don't have any life insurance so don't think you can get anything if I drown..." he told her....and they all laughed.

"Ok let's go you two...stop being so corny....don't you guys had enough lastnight?...you just make me sick..." Tony told them. He grabbed Margie hand and they headed to the dock.

"Let's go..." Kiu Wai told Mei Ling as he held her hand and helped her onto the boat.

When they got to the middle of the lake, they ran into Jamie and Frankie again....

"what a small lake huh? We meet again.." Frankie commented.

"Yeah..." Margie replied....she wasn't too thrill about seeing Jamie at all....afterall, she is Mei Ling bestfriend...have to be on her side...

"So where are you guys going? I heard there is a very nice scary tunnel up ahead over by that little island there....you want to go with us? It's kinda bored going by ourselves..." Frankie asked them.

"Oh really? I didn't know that....it must be something new..." Kiu Wai replied.

"Not really...they discovered the tunnel half a year ago...maybe it's because you haven't been here lately that's why you didn't know about it..." Frankie informed them.

"Why not...lets go...we can use some more scary kind of fun..." Tony told them. No one objected...so they headed in that direction.

When they got there...the island itself is very pretty and inviting....but as they got on land...there were lots of tall and lushes trees and plants. They followed the path to the haunted tunnel. Not too many ppl around....it wasn't the vacation time of the year....it seemed like only six of them were there.

"I'm scared Kiu Wai..." Mei Ling grabbed onto his arm. He put his arm around her..by the waist..."Don't be scare..there is nothing to be affraid of...it's only a dark tunnel that you can't hardly see a thing...." Kiu Wai tried to scare her some more so she would grab onto him tighter.

Jamie can't stand the way he flirted with Mei Ling in front of her...though she is seeing Frankie at the time. She grabbed onto Frankie too...tried to get back at Kiu Wai and Mei Ling.....Frankie wrapped his arm around her too as they all walk towards the entrance of the tunnel....

"Some how I have this erie feeling....." Margie told Tony as she came closer to him....He was looking into the tunnel.

"So...Who wants to be the first to enter?" Tony turned back and asked the others.

"Why don't you go...since you and Margie are the first in line anyway..." Kiu Wai told him.

"You'r such a chicken..." Tony told Kiu Wai and laughed as he grabbed Margie and headed in.

"After you..." Frakie told Kiu Wai and Mei Ling...

They all headed in....it was pitch dark in there....you can hardly see your hand in front of ya...."Do any of you have a flash light?" Mei Ling asked...her voice was shaky...she is really scared...."Ahhh!!" she screamed.

"What happened?" Kiu Wai asked right away....

"I think something is crawling up my leg..." she told him...she was freaking out....

"Tony...turn on your flash light..." Kiu Wai was concerned.

Tony turned it on and pointed at Mei Ling's leg...."It's a little leech...don't worry I'll get it off..." Kiu Wai told her as he brushed it off....."It's gone.....you ok..." he looked at her leg and there was a little bit of blood came out....

"I got a bandaid....it's somewhere in my bag..." Margie was digging into her little bag pack...."Here...put it on for her...."

"You're alright...." Kiu Wai told her as he slightly patted the bandaid making sure it's secured. Mei Ling was crying a little...

"It's only a little leech....don't be a cry baby..." Jamie told her.

"You'll be crying too if it bit ya..." Margie scolded at Jamie.

"Want me to carry you?" Kiu Wai asked Mei Ling....she nodded her head....and he picked her up...."keep your flashlight on....we might run into something else.." Kiu Wai told Tony.

Chapter 16

Mei Ling got down and they all headed back the other way.
While they were walking, Tony's flashlight went out....

"huhhh!" Mei Ling was frightened. She grabbed onto Kiu Wai's arm.

"You better stay close to me before something gonna grab ya..." Kiu Wai scaring her more....he laughed...he held her hand tight.

"You stop scaring her like that Kiu Wai..." Margie scolded him...coz she was scared too....she held on tight to Tony.

"Hey guys...why don't we tell funny stories or jokes to calm down the girls?" Frankie suggested.

"That's a good idea..." Mei Ling second it..

"ok...here is one....a rooster laid an egg on the roof, which side does it rolls down?..." Kiu Wai asked.

"hmmmmm.....that is not funny.....a rooster doesn't lay egg....how can it roll down?" Mei Ling answered.

"You're pretty sharp for being affraidy cat.." Kiu Wai commented with a laugh...

"Here...I got one....how can you spot a black guy when you don't turn on your car lights and there is no street lights on the road?..." Tony's turn.

"His smile?" Margie answered...."You know the white teeth thing..."

"Nah.....you can't see his teeth when there is no light...."Jamie interrupted.....

"So guys? what you think?" Tony asked the guys...

"We give up....how?" Frankie surrendered.

"It was day time....you can see him w/o car lights and street lights..." Tony answered....they all broke out laughing.....the girls tension was lessened....

They talked and joked around until they got back to the entrance.....

"Finally....this is no fun at all...never coming back to this island again..." Jamie was upset.

They headed to the direction where they left their boat and got back to the dock....it was pretty late...around dinner time already and they haven't eaten yet....they went to dine in the cafe at the dock....

"didn't think hotdogs and burgers can taste this good..." Mei Ling commented as he was enjoying her meal.

"Anything taste good if you starve all day.....next time we should have breakfast before we do anything else..." Tony replied.

After the meal...Jamie and Frankie said goodbye and went on their own way....Kiu Wai, Mei Ling, Tony and Margie headed back to camp....

"Another had gone by....just four more days and back to reality it is for us (phai di cay)...."Margie commented.

"Oh well, lets make the best out of it...dunno when we can do this again...with our schedule maybe not for a very long time...." Mei Ling was a little sad to think of all the work loads ahead....

DUE TO THE PLEADING REQUEST OF TAMMY....HERE IS THE UNCENSORED CHAPTER OF KIU WAI AND MEI LING....IF YOU'RE NOT ENOUGH OF AGE....PLEASE DO NOT GO ON FROM HERE....heheeh...

They got back to camp....all full and exhausted from the long agravated walk at the island. Everyone decided to get some rest early that night....

"Oh you two gonna bunk together again?" Tony asked to Kiu Wai and Mei Ling....he was about to go into the tent...and saw Kiu Wai-Mei Ling already in there.....he turned around and called to Margie...."Margie...wait...I'm coming in with you.."

Kiu Wai and Mei Ling just smiled at each other as they saw Tony left. Kiu Wai tried to get cozy....

"I thought you're all poofed out from carrying me...." said Mei Ling with a half smile.

"I was...but after all that food and rest...I'm fine now..." He told her as he pressed his lips against hers.....and ......

Tony and Margie can hear them from their tent....they were getting intimate themselves...but can't help laughing coz Mei Ling was moaning so loud.....

OK...IS THAT JUICY ENOUGH? I'M ALL BLUSHING AS I TYPE...DON'T THINK I CAN TAKE IT ANYMORE....LAUGHED TOO HARD..MY TUMMY HURTS....kekekek...

Chapter 17

The Next Morning....

They got up late this morning. Everyone was too tired from their long walked yesterday...besides....they didn't get too much sleep that night either....so they slept until noon....

"Margie...wake up...it's noon already...wake up..." Tony shook her.

"What?...I'm still soo exhausted....what you want?" Margie replied.

"I'm hungry...my tummy is growling ....you want to get something to eat with me?" Tony asked her.

"No...I'm sleepy...why don't you go with Kiu Wai and Mei Ling..." she told him ....and went back to sleep.

"Ok ok...I'll get them.." Tony walked out and wash up ....he then went over Kiu Wai and Mei Ling...."Are you guys up yet?" he called from outside...

Kiu Wai and Mei Ling were still sleeping....she was lying in his arms and he was hugging her. Kiu Wai heard Tony..."What you want so early in the morning?" he replied in his sleepy voice.

"Morning? Do you know what time it is?...it's noon already...arn't you hungry?" Tony told him.

"Oh really? But Mei Ling and I are still sleepy.....if you're hungry, why don't you and Margie go find something to eat first....we'll get something for us later..." Kiu Wai told Tony and went back to sleep with Mei Ling.

"Ok then..if no one wants to go...I'll go by myself..." Tony left.

A couple of hours later...when its really getting late...like they have spent the whold day sleeping. They smell something good from outside their tent. It was Tony...he was bb-queing some chicken thighs he bought from the market nearby.

Kiu Wai stuck his face outside the tent...."What's cooking?" he asked Tony...

"Thought this would wake your sleepy head up...it's almost 5 pm ....it's about time that you guys get up...the whole day is wasted.." Tony told him...

Mei Ling stuck her head out too..."Ok ok...we're up....where is Marg?" she asked Tony.

"She is washing up.....unlike you and Kiu Wai...you guys should go wash up and have dinner....gesshh......guess you got too much lastnight huh!@!.." Tony commented and laughed.

Mei Ling was a bit ambarassed...her face was all glowing red....she and Kiu Wai took their change of clothes and went to wash up for dinner....

Mei ling and Kiu Wai got back and join Tony and Margie by the campfire....

"The thighs are ready...." Tony announced.

"OH good...I'm starving to death..." Kiu Wai exclaimed.

" I know you are.....too much exurtion lastnight...who wouldn't be starving to death" Tony commented....he and Margie looked at each other laughing in a mocking way.

Kiu Wai looked at Mei Ling and both were kinda ambarrased...Mei Ling's face was all red....to the ears...she looked down to the ground....

"Ok ok...enough jokes..." Tony said..."after all, you two are engaged...bound to be married anyway..." he smiled.

"Do you guys want to go home early? We practically done almost everything here..." Margie asked.

"Already?" Tony wanted to stay and go fishing some more...he haven't had this much fun in a long time since he was so busy with his career..."We can go fishing again....I really don't want to go back yet....just 3 more days...." he told Margie.

"Yeah Margie....don't be a party pooper...let's enjoy the rest of our vacation....we don't know when we'll have another chance to do this again..." Kiu Wai told her.

"Come on Marg....let's please the guys...only 3 more days...we can torture them some more...." Mei Ling smiled.

"Ok ok...we'll stay until the week end then..." she handed Mei Ling and Kiu Wai the chicken thighs. They all dug in and enjoyed their dinner...

After they finished, they decided to tell some more stories and jokes to make whatever left of their wasted day fun....That night the moon was really shining bright in the sky...so they all took a little stroll down the pond and look at the fireflies flickering in the night. It was like an image of standing in the middle of a bunch of stars....a heavenly experience....they really enjoyed the beauty of what mother nature had to offer....feeling free and merry.
