Out of all the roles that she played, which one left a big mark in your heart? Meaning you still can't forget how wonderful she acted and no one can replace her in playing that role. Well, most people will probably say Wong Yung and I agree. I think that role was made for ML. I tried watching the 1995 remake and oh boy, what a disaster. I couldn't stand watching the actress who played Wong Yung, probably because I was comparing her character to the one by ML and of course it fell short in every scene. ML just played that role so naturally that it didn't feel like she was acting, it felt like she was really Wong Yung. I guess that's why the 82' version will always be remembered as a "must see" classic.

nance, how come i can never disagree with you?? heheh Of course Wy tooo. I mean i love her as sc, ss,to wun in UWS and chor ying, but then wy role is just UNFORGETTABLE and most memorable. I think its bc it was my first serioes of ML and she left a big impression in my heart. Everytime people think of ML, they thikn of " wong yung" ..matter of fact, i always call her wong yung instead of her real name( until i found you guys, then i started to call her ML and Kw) hehhee.. p.s another role is SC..i never never never forget sc and clh..

WY is unforgettable by almost all the world. But when Barbara is involved, what isnt? :-) But I prefer CSS... although it's not a happy end, but I just feel that she's so loved by LSM. And that's what so unforgetable about this movie. The chemistry! But in term of which 1 do I prefer to be, I chose, SSC... cos I just cant stand to see CLH.. hehehe....

I agree with Nance and Tammy!! Even though, I haven't seen many MB movies, my favorite one would have to be Wong Yung. That was the first movie I ever see her in. She was so cute and funny in there!! I never forgot how well she played the character..I wanted to be just like her.....You're right! The remake of LOCH didn't even compare. The 82' LOCH was a classic. No one can compare to the beauty of Wong Yung!!!

I have to all with all of you mb sis. It's hands down for WY. In my heart, she is WY and will always be. No other actresses can take on this role like she did. ML had it all for this role, looks and performance.

heheh....I would have to side with Franscisca on this one....hehehe...regarding SC that is....coz obviously......SC = bbtgr....kekekek.....ouch!!!! STOP STOP STOP IT GIRLS!!! *bbtgr's ducking under her desk....* ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.......it's rotten eggs.....can you girls use rocks instead...I rather bleed to death and reek to death......*bbtgr is pinching her nose as she picked up a broken rotten eggshell from her feet* ok ok...let's get serious now.....like when can I do that right??? anyways.....though everyone love WY.....but to me she'll be PURRRRRRRRRFECT if she ended up with the charming....smart...breath taking YH instead of the dumb WJ.....I would go head over heels for that series too...but then since that didnt' happen....I'll just stick with my CTK and SC.....that's my unforgetable series of ML and KW.....they rocks!!!

i know it would matter much consider much of you agree with this anyways. however, as horrible memories as this brings me to say. i think her most perfect and culivated role was as Princess Siu Jing. i know. it's so common, but as the first barbara yung series i've watched. it affected me, no matter how bias this comment may be. a series can only have the perfect chemistry if it actually affects the viewer. though fearless duo was before this. i find flawed factors in that series. though the pairing was flawLESS. but yeah. just like to express my thoughts as a Mei Ling fan.
