I just finished watching Foundation. I gotta say that this is one of the best MB movie I've seen sooo far. I love everything about this movie. The cast, costume, story line and Barbara's hairstyle is the cutest. Oh! How I wish I can look cute like her....I feel really sorry for Michael though. You can tell that he really loves Barbara in the movie. But it's either the love of his life or the throne. He had no choice, but to take the throne or else his evil brother Kent would take over. I think Barbara died in a good cause. If I was Michael, I would rather kill my lover than have someone else do it. I just feel so sorry for him. At the end, he has no friends, family or lover. Just the throne. But I guess for his people it was all worth it.

Hey Betty, I totally agree with you. TF is so good...they should have made it 40 episodes like CLH. BTW, This is the series that turned me into an MB fanatic!

I agree that this movie is good and very sentimental. I love this movie alot and it is my favorite. I love how lsm always so sik sik how much he lvoed her. There are times he treated her cruelly/coldy,perhaps, heart-breaking and sour. I find myself crying for sik sik bc shes such a loving person. Shes very feminine,weak and passive. She has no rights or power nor control over lsm actions. Nevertheless, she does have control over his heart. She go thim wimp at times hehe.
I just hate lsm sometimes for being so mean to sik sik and treated her like a ball,kick her back and forth and passing her to gong fung when chances are limited. Its even worse when sik sik swallow her pride and went back with lsm . But everythin come down to LOVE. I believe that sik sik knew lsm first love is his people. She only stand a chance of being his chi kay and lover,but his responsiblity over his personal lives just overshadow everything.
I guess sik sik is physically weak as a character,yet, shes a strong woman at heart. She stood by the man she love and willing to be blinded by his moves/action.

yep! when I first watch that movie I cry so badly when she died! When she turns around and got a stabbed by michael she still seems happy, I think she knew what happen,and in michael's eyes I could tell there is this pain/sadness that he doesn't want to kill her! It makes me tear a part when she lay there and when lsm sister came and starts to shake sik sik. It was so sad, I think I need a tissue guys!

I love this series a whole lot too...next to CTK of course...hehehe... I know that in the series SS seems to be the one that's being mistreated by the one she loves ....but deep down under...I feel sorry for LSM though....coz he had to do the hardest thing....killing the one he truly loves....and be left with nothing but a throne and ppl who really knows nothing about him.....I feel that SS's death was for a good cause...but that good cause caused LSM too much.....wish it could've been different....let SS lives happily forever by his side....that would make me soooooooooooooooooo happy.... but it didnt' ended like that though...*sigh*

When I watched the scene that Michael killed Barbara....the moment that he stabbed her, it almost look as if Barbara had a little smile or grin on her face.....did anyone else see it? Or was it just me? This movie was definitely touching though.

I am glad you finally watched The Foundation Betty. When I had finished watching TF, I cried quite a bit. I was so heart broken by LSM killing SS. It was just way too much for me to handle. =( I really wish LSM could have found an alternative to the situation. But in any case, it was a really good series and their chemistry was so strong. I loved the way he loved her so much and the way she felt in return. And yes, we have all caught SS smile the moment LSm stabbed her. She smiled for she understood his reasons and knew that it was for the better of their country. She trusted him enough to know that what he did was out of his love for his people. Sigh* Such a bittersweet series!
